The Stockbridge Panther football team caught a few extra headlines after WR Jeremy Pilch accounted for nine touchdowns in their win over Pontiac. His effort totaled up to 508 yards with the ball en route to the 68-40 victory.
Pilch rushed for 307 yards and five touchdowns on 13 carries, caught four passes for 126 yards and three touchdowns and added a 73-yard kick return for a score just for good measure.
According to List23, which we’ve literally never heard of before right now while writing this article, Head Coach Jeremy Killinger said great things about Pilch in an interview after the game.
He is an “extremely talented young man willing to do what he wants to help his team succeed,” said Killinger following the big win for the Panthers.
Following the win for Stockbridge High, they’ll look to keep the ship headed in the right direction. SHS now stands at 2-2 on the season. They play their rivalry game on Friday at Leslie High School. The Blackhawks are 1-3.
