CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. | NSBNsports.com | August 14, 2026 — Chattanooga Christian enters the 2026 high school football season seeking a fresh start against another challenging schedule.
The Chargers finished 1-9 overall and 0-7 in Division II-AA East last season. Chattanooga Christian opened the year with a commanding 42-0 victory over Ooltewah before enduring a difficult stretch against several of Tennessee’s strongest private-school programs.
Despite the final record, the Chargers showed improvement in several competitive games. Chattanooga Christian fell to eventual playoff teams Christian Academy of Knoxville and Notre Dame by a combined 15 points and finished within eight points of Webb.
The 2026 schedule begins with three consecutive road games against Ooltewah, Tyner Academy and Grace Christian Academy. The Chargers then play six of their final seven contests at home, beginning Sept. 11 against Westminster.
The Division II-AA East schedule includes matchups with Boyd-Buchanan, CAK, Notre Dame, Lakeway Christian Academy, Webb and Silverdale Academy.
