Test Fishing A NEW CARP LAKE – These Fish Have Never Seen A Bait!
For this latest episode we were invited by our friend Lee Carver to carp fish Birch Pool, on his very own East Bilney Lake complex. Lee acquired the declining fishery a couple of years back, with the sole aim of transforming it back to it’s former glory – a complex of thriving match and carp lakes. The amount of work required was nothing short of epic, but Lee and his team succeeded and East Bilney Lakes is now back open to the public.
We were invited to ‘test fish’ his carp water Birch Pool, which is stocked with a range of stunning carp to over 30lb. With uncaught fish and with no anglers previously casting a line into the water, we weren’t too sure what to expect, but there was only one way to find out!
