45 – Understanding Zone Mechanics
41 – Line Of Sight: When nearby players can see you and possibly tag you is influenced by terrain, buildings, old builds, etc.
15 – Risk: Whenever you are chilling on mats, heals, rotation, etc. there is no need to force a refresh or take a risk for a refresh, but whenever you are more scuffed it is worth it to take more risks as it can boost your overall placement tremendously. Don’t play too confident when you are in a really good position, and don’t play scared when in a really bad one. Whenever in those scuffed situation, just remember that the smallest refreshes can completely change the outcome of your game.
24 – Pre-Rotating & Launch Pad Flight Paths: If you get a bad zone, where players around you get too congested, try to get ahead of the people around you so you have more vision for your rotations. Whenever using launch pads for 1st and 2nd moving, don’t land on the front side of zone, and it’s easy to get 50/50, instead land on a side part of the zone and reuse tarps, as mats deplete quite easily in solos.
19 – Red Line Theory: In moving zones, try to get deeper inside of the next zone, so that you have spacing between other players, and can also look back at the more congested, front zone, and get easy refreshes.
02 – Height Take: Get ahead before looking to take height, in solos most players will be playing back into zone to get more refreshes, so if you stay to the front of zone, it is less likely that height will see you and you will have a relatively easy height take. When not getting pressured, use wood and the moment you do get pressured switch to your hard mats. The moment you get a refresh in LATER moving zones, begin to layer upwards and take height from the FRONTSIDE. Try to look for ar tags on height, as the player up there will be less likely to contest you at lower shield.
43 – 1v1 Ability: Tayson’s ability to convert a 1v1 situation into the win is on of the reasons he is the best player in the world right now, whenever tayson is on height with the health, mats and positioning advantages, he doesn’t look for a 50/50, instead only trades damage when he knows the opponent can’t hit him for an insane amount of damage, all of his endgame 1v1s are really well thought out.
06 – Converting Into High Placement: Tayson rarely opens up walls on people on his tarp endgame, instead he forces them to drop to a lower layer and then looks to pick up the kills by editing his bottom floors. Although he has minimal builds, Tayson stays ahead of zone, reusing old tarps, and making sure that no players can drop him, or jump into his tarp and 50/50 him, by doing so, and picking up a nice refresh, he secures a second place.
04 – Refresh Tactic: By editing on players lower then you by use of floors, you can completely reduce the risk of a pump trade, and by making them drop to lowground, you can pick up easy eliminations and get fairly easy refreshes.1
