Thanks for watching my highlight reel from this season. Probably like many players around the world that are my age, we had a shorter than usual, and abnormal season, but I was still able to make the most out of it, grow in my skills, increase my stats, and I was pumped to be able to have the opportunity to play with all that is going on out there. As a 2022 midfielder based out of Bend, Oregon, I’ve been playing for 9 years and play on: Bend High School Varsity Team, Madlax-Oregon Team (the #1 ranked boys club lacrosse program in the state), and the Thump Lacrosse Team.
There is so much I appreciate about this sport, one of them being that it gives me the opportunity to continue to learn, be challenged, and grow on/off the field. I love working on my lacrosse skills (right hand/left hand, offense/defense and more), as well as my leadership abilities. Another way it helps me is that it reinforces my enthusiastic spirit and allows me to spread the encouragement to others out on the field. I am a coachable person and a student of life by nature, welcoming constructive criticism because I know it will only help me become a better player and a better person. And of course, there’s something about scoring and getting that ball in the net, bonding with your team, the fast pace and athleticism it takes, and that it’s also an outdoor sport more often than not.
A few other stand out moments that I’m proud of this season is that I was named Offensive Player of the Year, as well as the 2021 High Desert All-Conference Team honorable mention.
I currently have my profile set up on NCSA (National College Student Athlete), and am looking for options and the right fit for college.
