The East Liverpool sophomore might be the area’s best-hidden gem student-athlete we’ve seen in years. Mostly because of the way she handles herself on and off the court, Kyia tries to steer clear of the limelight, and pushes the attention to her teammates, coaches, and the program itself.
Although still young, and always learning, White has taken a leadership role on the floor for Coach Dan McKinstry’s squad. A gander at MaxPreps will tell you that White’s serves are good over 97% of the time, and leads the conference and is ranked in the nation in kills, which, sets her offense up for success- and in turn, has helped the Potters get out to a great start this season!
