Adrian scored six times in the second period to turn a close one-goal game with Trine into a 10-3 rout of the host Thunder in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association South Division men’s hockey action on Friday night.

Rehding finished with two goals and an assist. Moe scored a pair of goals. Ellis also had three points with a goal and two assists. Goberis led Adrian in the face-off circle with 10 wins in 16 draws

Senior goalie Cameron Gray got the win with 20 saves in 40 minutes before freshman Dershahn Stewart finished with 11 saves over the last 20 minutes. Also registering a multi-point night: junior defenseman captain Matt Eller (2A), Goberis (1G-1A), Ruffin (1G-1A), freshman John Kaljian (2A), May (1G-1A) and Butler (1G-1A).

Prappas had two points on a goal and an assist, and was 7-for-12 in the face-off dot. Meers also had a goal and an assist. Domin chipped in two assists.

Adrian moves to 12-0 lifetime versus Trine, including 6-0 on Thunder home-ice.  Sophomore Alessio Luciani leads the team with 13 goals, 15 assists and 28 total points. Moe also has a team-best 13 goals among 24 points.

May tops AC newcomers with 12 goals and 18 points. The Bulldogs are on a 10-game winning streak that dates to the last day of January.

These same two teams conclude their home-and-home series tomorrow night when it shifts to Adrian’s Arrington Ice Arena. It will be Senior Day for the Bulldogs’ captain Matt Eller and alternate captain Joshua Owings.
