In the years to follow, Etienne further cemented himself as not only a Clemson great but one of the best running backs in college football history. Though he rarely was given the high volume of carries normally reserved for players of his caliber, he nonetheless ran down nearly every Clemson and ACC season and career record while securing four straight conference titles and four straight CFP appearances. Etienne took home the ACC Player of the Year Award in consecutive seasons and became only the fifth player in Clemson history to land on an All American team in three different campaigns. He thrilled Clemson fans by coming back for his senior season and set the ACC record for most career yards to go alongside his record 70 rushing touchdowns. Etienne also became the ACC’s all time points leader and set a new NCAA mark for most games with a touchdown.
