The Rock Returns To DEFEND The Usos Against Roman Reigns On SmackDown In 2021 LEAKED! WWE News
Heading into the beginning of 2021, one of the big rumored storylines that was planned for WrestleMania 37 was The Rock returning to WWE and facing off against his cousin Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship, however, due to The Rock’s schedule outside of wrestling, he could not make time for a return and WWE postponed this huge storyline. However, with new rumors going around that Vince McMahon and WWE are planning for The Rock to return to WWE sometime this year in 2021, with one report suggesting WWE want The Rock back for Survivor Series 2021, the rumors & speculation are starting to heat up once again regarding a potential feud between The Rock and Roman Reigns. According to a breaking new backstage rumor, Vince is planning for Roman Reigns to continue mistreating The Usos on Friday Night SmackDown and essentially letting his power get to his head, with the plan then being for The Rock to return and confront The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, and defend The Usos against Reigns, and demand for Roman Reigns to have a reality check and put his family first, with The Rock basically trying to put Roman in his place, in which Roman would not respond kindly to The Rock’s interference in his business with The Usos, and the rivalry between The Rock and Roman Reigns would begin, with this storyline likely culminating in a match between Roman Reigns and The Rock for WrestleMania 38 next year. Now as to when The Rock will be returning to confront Roman Reigns and defend The Usos remains to be seen, but one backstage report indicates that The Rock will likely make a surprise return on SmackDown when Roman Reigns’ relationship with The Usos reaches a breaking point, likely in late summer 2021, and WWE will begin the groundwork for Roman’s feud against The Great One, The Rock!
