Seeing the progression of rapid #9 on the Zambezi as the levels continued to rise was so epic to watch. As the bottom waves started to green out, I thought that as the levels rose we would just start to see the waves flatten out. So we were taken by surprise when all of a sudden one day it looked like we were gonna be able to catch one of the biggest waves in the rapid. We all walked up to give it a shot, and we all caught it and had some rowdy surfs. So we decided the following day we would go back and just see what was possible. What ended up happening was a ton of survival surfs, some of the most out of control rides, and one hell of a good time. Check it out!
