Behren Morton (QB): What Behren Morton will show up on the road? That’s the big question, with Tahj Brooks alongside him, I expect Morton to be much improved compared to his outing at Wazzu. That said, Morton has to minimize the turnovers and maximize the opportunities downfield that Arizona presents, because they may not give many with Tacario Davis (6’4 DB) leading the charge in the Wildcats secondary
Tahj Brooks (RB): At this point, we know who makes this Texas tech offense go and it’s number 28. He will be the focal point of the Arizona defense, but he will no doubt still be heavily involved. I’d expect another 25+ carry outing for Tahj
Bralyn Lux (CB): The Texas tech desperately needs him back, but even more so with the matchup against arguably the best WR in the country in McMillan.
Players To Watch: Arizona
Noah Fifita (QB): Don’t let his size fool you, Fifita is a baller. He is mobile and extends plays with his legs while also having a rocket for an arm. He can make virtually every throw on the field and has a connection dating back to HS with again, arguably the best WR in the country in T-Mac.
Tetairoa McMillan (WR): 29 catches for 503 yards and 4 TDs… need I say more. He already has a 300-yard receiving game under his belt this year and has one of the most complete route trees in the game. He will be priority 1, 2, and 3 for the Texas Tech defense on Saturday night
Quali Conley (RB): One of the more underrated RBs in the Big 12, but still a really good one. He’s currently 9th in rushing yards in the Big 12 with 322 and averages close to 6 yards a carry
Must Watch Matchup:
Bralyn Lux vs. Tetairoa McMillan
Lux is a must for the Red Raiders to have in this game or else you could see McMillan go for 200+ yards. The red Raiders will no doubt try and double (maybe even triple) team McMillan, but Lux will be the primary DB guarding him IF Lux plays
