Jordan Whittington discusses his rehab and how his collarbone is healing. He said he’s not entirely sure if he’ll be able to make it back to the Texas Longhorns season in 2021: “I don’t know…I might surprise everybody. Why not?”
“Do I think I can come back and play physically? Yes. Mentally? Where I’m at, I’m not sure. That’s why I’m questioning that part of the game. A lot of football is mental. That’s an important piece of it.”
In terms of what Jordan Whittington thinks the current team is missing he says: “You’ve got to hate losing.” He acknowledged that he’s not as much with the team as he’d like to be while rehabbing and he said: “I know one thing that has to change is the mindset. You can’t be fine with it. There are a lot of people in the building that aren’t fine with it, but at the same time maybe there is some people that it doesn’t really matter that much to them. When you have that mix-up it’s always going to get worse before it gets better.”
