It’s a glorious, sunny Saturday morning, so we decide to drive to the pretty little Sunshine Coast town of Yandina. Yandina is one of the oldest towns on the Sunshine Coast – famous for The Ginger Factory and its charming town centre full of heritage-listed buildings. Yandina also has a great little market that operates on Saturday mornings with a mix of plants, fruit and vegetables, second-hand goods and food outlets. We had so much fun bumping into friends, grabbing some bargains and tasting some delicious chai tea and vegan brownies! We have a delicious lunch at the local bakery and a walk around town before leaving for our next stop…Mapleton Falls!
After a lot of rain last night, we thought it would be a good time to show you Mapleton Falls. There’s a wonderful viewing platform right next to the car park, signed walks and it’s a great place to have a picnic.
