In the futuristic year of 2034, boomers still manage to cause problems for society. But who needs a blade runner to deal with renegade robots when the Knight Sabers on the case? This is Bubblegum Crash.

This is a compilation video I put together using footage of commercials that played on Sci-Fi Channel in the year 1995 along with a Japanese anime movie that didn’t play on Sci-Fi Channel to the best of my knowledge. It is loosely based off Sci-Fi Channel’s Saturday Anime block that would air starting at 9 in the morning on Saturdays. Think of it as a retro remix or a bootleg television broadcast.
This is the one hundred sixteenth television compilation video I’ve uploaded, the sixth I’ve made on Sci-Fi Channel, and the third I made for Saturday Anime. As with the prior two Sci-Fi Channel’s Saturday Anime videos I made, this is yet another three episode OVA. It also did not air on Sci-Fi Channel’s Saturday Anime, but is the same sort of thing they showed, so don’t go thinking you’ve uncovered some lost media here or anything. Bubblegum Crash is the sequel to Bubblegum Crisis. Bubblegum Crash isn’t as beloved as Bubblegum Crisis, mainly because it has a more jovial, light-hearted tone to it, but I don’t think it’s that bad. The commercials are slightly anachronistic here, as I used some from January 1995 when Saturday Anime didn’t debut until fall of 1995. At any rate, I hope you enjoy the show!
If you would like to watch some original recordings of Sci-Fi Channel Saturday Anime, I’ve made a playlist of videos like that I could find on Youtube:
Disclaimer: I do not make any money or accept any donations for these videos. I make them in my free time as a hobby, out of a love for old television, and because they’re the kinds of videos I would like to be able to watch on Youtube. If you see Youtube ads (not commercials) on this video, that’s because this video was copyright claimed by a variety of different companies, who chose to run ads on my video for their own profit. I also do not make these videos for children, but for adults like myself who are nostalgic for their childhoods. If the comments are disabled on this video or another like it, it’s because Youtube set it as “for children.” And that’s the end of that disclaimer.
Here is a playlist of Saturday morning cartoons (and other similar broadcasts) videos I’ve made:
