Join us for an art-making activity with PAMM Teaching Artist Angela Bolaños inspired by the work of Nicholas Hlobo, currently on view in our exhibition Allied with Power. Hlobo inspires us to use textiles, found objects, and other materials to create sculptural works of art.

Recycled fabric
Fabrics with interesting prints and textures (old t-shirts!)
Yarn
Ribbon
Needle
Mod Podge or white glue
Hole puncher
Old zippers
Plastic bags

PAMM Free Second Saturdays are made possible by presenting sponsorship support from Publix Super Market Charities, LeRoy Neiman Foundation, The Edward C. Fogg, III and Lisbeth A. Fogg Charitable Trust, and by endowed funds granted by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and Heckscher Foundation for Children to underwrite the museum’s broad portfolio of education programs. Together with leadership support from Miami-Dade County, these funders enable the museum to transform the lives of young people in our community through our art education programs.
