Saturday was the first game under the new regime of Eddie Howe as Newcastle United drew 3-3 with Brentford in the Premier League at a very vocal St. James’ Park.
What was very clear to see was the fact that the team didn’t fold when we went behind and we were much more attacking and actually finished the game with over 50% possession which we haven’t seen in a very long time!!
Let me know what you thought of the initial team selection, the formation and the overall performance from Newcastle United and do you think we have what it takes to avoid relegation?
Obviously the major talking point from the game was our defence. We know that this is the main problem that Eddie Howe needs to address and very quickly. They really do look all over the place and that includes our goalkeeper!
