For the first time since 1989, NASCAR will be racing on Easter Sunday when they take the green flag in the 2022 Food City Dirt Race. Bristol will be the 10th track to host a race on Easter and the 4th dirt track to host on Easter, and it will be the 12th race overall that NASCAR’s top series has ran on Easter, and while this has truthfully just been a weekend to have off and reflect with family, this year’s schedule doesn’t allow that opportunity.
