If you are in the Oklahoma Sooners’ fan base, you have to hope that the Sooners are indeed completely broken at this point. You cannot begin to rebuild until you hit rock bottom, and after Saturday’s embarrassing 49-0 loss to arch-rival Texas, the most lopsided defeat in red river showdown history for OU, it appears that the Sooners have done just that.

Maybe now, Brent Venables and Co. can continue with what is clearly a rebuild of the football program.
