Tiramisu always has been one of my favorite desserts, but I never dared making it myself, for I assumed it’s difficult. Surprisingly, this Tiramisu recipe is rather easy and requires no baking, if you can get your hands on the right ingredients.

LIST OF INGREDIENTS:
– coffee, preferably espresso [1.25 cup / 300ml]
– fresh sanitized egg [4 small]
– fine/caster sugar [half cup / 100g]
– Mascarpone [2 cups / 500g]
– heavy cream [0.75 cup / 200g]
– 26 ladyfingers [one VICENZOVO pack of 200g/7oz]
– cocoa powder [2 tbsp / 20g]
– 1 tbsp vanilla extract, or better 1-2 tbsp of Marsala wine, rum, or whiskey

A few final tips:
– please use Mascarpone, don’t substitute it with cheese cream
– split the 100g of sugar equally among yolks, egg whites and heavy cream, when beating them
– make sure to just shortly dip the ladyfingers into the coffee, or they will get too mushy and fall apart
– don’t go overboard with the alcohol, if you use any; 1-2 tbsp are enough, otherwise it will overshadow the coffee
