Kylian Mbappe makes major transfer admission amid Liverpool rumours
The Paris Saint-Germain striker continues to be tentatively linked with a move to Liverpool
Kylian Mbappe has admitted his future might lie away from Paris Saint-Germain amid reported interest from Liverpool.
The Reds continue to be tentatively linked with a move for the striker, who is currently with the France national team for this summer’s European Championships.
As well as Liverpool, Real Madrid are the other club who have been persistently linked with Mbappe’s services, but the future of the forward remains up in the air.
Earlier this month, PSG chairman and chief executive Nasser Al-Khelaifi said there was no chance that Mbappe would leave the Ligue 1 club this summer or any time afterwards.
“I will be clear: Kylian will be staying in Paris,” Al-Khelaifi told L’Equipe. “We are never going to sell him, and he will never leave for free.
“I never give details to the press about ongoing negotiations. All I can say is that it is coming along nicely.
“I hope that we will find a common ground. It is Paris, Kylian’s country and he has a mission: not just to be a football player, but to promote the French league, his country and the capital city.”
