A demoralising 1-0 defeat in Rome on Thursday ended Leicester City’s European adventure, perhaps for more than just this season given Leicester’s ten-point deficit to the final European spot in the Premier League (PL). Boss Brendan Rodgers bemoaned his side’s ‘lack of physicality’ when again conceding from a corner last time out, which came as little surprise given the ‘Foxes’ have leaked a PL-high 14 goals from corner situations.
Adding to Rodgers woes, Leicester are now without a win across their last four PL matches (D2, L2), but they are impressively unbeaten in six at the King Power Stadium (W3, D3).
