When it comes to trades, the Los Angeles Lakers have been linked with stars such as Ben Simmons and Jerami Grant. However, Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report has recently claimed that the franchise “may not have enough” to trade for either. Pincus then claimed that Terrence Ross and Eric Gordon are “more likely” candidates for trades.

Eric Gordon and Terrence Ross are both guards that can create their own shot and score from the perimeter. They are also players who know how to play their role, and would be great fits next to LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Both could easily slide right into the Lakers rotation and improve spacing for the team’s slashers. We’ll see if the Los Angeles Lakers end up making a trade, or whether they trust the talent currently on the roster to figure things out. There is no question that they need to improve, but what matters is the approach that the front office and the team take towards that goal.
