HOW TO GET A PERFECT SIDEWALK EDGE EVERY TIME [TRIMMER VS EDGER!]

Today we’re cycling through THREE choices when it comes to edging a sidewalk. One of the questions we get a TON is whether we use a trimmer or an edger to edge a driveway or sidewalk. The answer is: both!

We’re showcasing a Redmax straight shaft edger, ECHO curved shaft edger, and an ECHO trimmer. It just comes down to personal preference as well as operator skill when creating a quality edge on a sidewalk!

For me personally, I love using a straight shaft edger. Rob loves using the curved shaft style. Other folks can lay a mean edge with the “flip edge” technique with a string trimmer – hey whatever works! As long as the lawn looks beautiful and the customer is happy, that’s what it’s all about.
