Michigan returns 8 out of their 11 starters from the 2021 season. While the offense was efficient in 2021, it needs to improve if Michigan wants to be a national contender. The Wolverines are poised to have one of the best offenses in the nation along with what I think might be the best rushing attack in the nation. Starting RB Blake Corum, who had nearly 1,000 rushing yards, returns along with backup RB Donovan Edwards to lead the ground attack. Both starting TEs Erick All and Luke Schoonmaker return as well. All was 2nd in receiving yards, with 437 total, and had 2 receiving TDs. Michigan’s OL is also poised to take a step forward with C Olu Oluwatimi coming to Michigan via the portal and 3 starters returning from last season. While the QB and WR play won’t be elite, these rooms also return significant experience. I expect the offense as a whole (both rushing and passing) to improve this season.
