Barks is back. Having left Charlwood for pastures new, Peter Barkley and his assistant Mike find themselves pitching up at Holland Sports, a club on the rise that has just made it into the Mid-Sussex Premier Division – the league that Charlwood were dominating before COVID came along.
It’s a blank canvas for Barks and Mike, as they look to build a team to take the club higher up the non-league football pyramid. But first, they have to meet their new squad, and begin the task of shaping them for the season ahead.
