What’s different on the GoPro Hero 13 Black from the DJI Osmo Action 4!? Here’s the direct comparison between the two action cameras and things that I think are important as a user:
•GoPro Labs is massive, unlock the full capabilities of your camera up to 200 mb/ps & tons of customization for settings.
•Folding fingers, magnetic mount + screw in mount makes it insanely compatible, especially with cinema clams and professional systems for higher end jobs
•Ultra Slow-Mo
•2x working screens whenever you’re recording (4k 120 this is annoying on the OA4)
•Light Painting + auto star trails
•Higher megapixel photos by more than double
•Baked in Audio on 4k 120
•Better lenses with the Macro, Max Lens Mod, soon to come anamorphic which are automatically detected now on the 13 saving you time and having to know the camera inside and out.
•The last one is a caviet*** No need to mount to mount the camera vertically with the Ultra Wide lens. BUT, you only get up to 4k 60 here so for most users it’s amazing, but for me shooting in the water and wanting to max out the quality. It falls flat for me.
Essentially the only thing that the Action 4 is clearly better at is that it connects to the DJI Mics. But will most people buy $300+ mics on top of their $300+ action cam!? I’m assuming not, but I may be wrong.
