Starting as a sophomore defensive tackle during the 1972 fooball season, Edgy Skovenski was a tthree year starter for North Tonawanda, and part of the famed “Wild Bunch” defense.
After his football playing days, he served as Tom TK Murphy’s volunteer assistant for the NT Lady Jacks softball team. Skovenski was with Murphy for 27 years and was there as Murphy amassed more than 500 wins.
During this conversation, Skovenski talks about his football career and his softball coaching career.
