A bit of a unexpected upload isn’t it?
Well, seeing as I was still at work with the Wonderlands vid and hadn’t really posted content of any substance, and that this specific topic was of interest to me, I figured ‘why not’ and divulged all energy in this ,which suprisingly got done within a week of the video that which I’m responding to.
Anyhow, I’ve vaguely followed the controversy regarding Creator Clash 2 and the unceremonious kicking of one ‘Froggy Fresh’ from the card with his fight with Chris Ray Gun. Of course, given that Ian ‘Idubbbz’ Jomha ran the show, many figured obviously it had to do with Froggy being ‘associated’ with Sam Hyde, that Froggy made fun of his wife, Anisa, for having a OnlyFans, and his little back and forth with Anisa’s mother-in-law. Most of this culminated in another example of how much of a bitch-made bitch Ian has become not only for his own wife’s sake, but for his own bruised ego regarding ‘The Candyman’. He made a video a week ago ‘addressing’ the drama by post hoc rationalizing his decision to kick Froggy from the card by using clips of Froggy saying various things….after he was kicked. Most, if not, ALL, the clips were something that Froggy said about him, his wife, and the event after he got kicked, which is not me necessarily ‘condoning’ him saying it but that it’s a warping of justification ignoring the literal passage of time to see yourself somehow in the right.
Beyond that, Ian tries to morally grandstand about ‘sex workers’ and ‘women’ despite prior being OK with people making fun of Anisa having a OnlyFans and being ‘content’ with it, and trying to gaslight Froggy using said evidence of his disdain for Creator Clash after he got kicked. Much of what Ian is doing is a sad case for most content creators whom used to make content under a different means trying to change for the sake of modern sensibilities and chasing the dollar, while trying to parade the pretense that they are completely in line with their old selves. A lot of this is a microcosm of my ‘Creator Complacency’ video that I made a few months ago regarding this phenomena of once dignified creators either becoming stagnant, betraying the audience that got them where they were, or abandoning their principles in the name of ‘brand recognition’. How some Heroes have fallen and that ultimately, you must never meet your heroes.
