If we want to get not only get quicker but get into our shot quicker we can design our drills to help us do so. Here the ball could only bounce a certain amount of times. If it bounced over the limit the rep didn’t count. It held players accountable to moving quicker.

To many times as coaches we tell our players go “game speed” or go “full speed” but what does that really mean? Instead of continuously telling them “go faster”, “go harder”, etc. we can put them in a situation where they’re forced too.
