College football recruiting for the 2022 cycle has already made its biggest waves, but there are several five-stars left on the board following the early signing period with National Signing Day coming next month. With a recent pledge from five-star Harold Perkins, Texas A&M is on track to sign the highest-rated class of all-time per the 247Sports Composite, an incredible haul that would push the Aggies over Alabama’s 2021 class in the top spot.
Texas A&M has currently signed six 247Sports Composite five-star prospects, has Perkins committed and could land Shemar Stewart as well on Feb. 2.
There are 33 five-stars in the 2022 cycle per the 247Sports Composite rankings with this week’s update, and 29 made things official with their respective schools during the early signing period. One of the remaining unsigned players is verbally committed to Texas A&M, and the other three will make their final choices in the coming weeks.
Here’s a look at the five-stars in the 2022 class and where they’re headed as of Jan. 20.
