China’s former premier Li Keqiang died on Friday (Oct 27) aged 68, after suffering a sudden heart attack. Serving under President Xi Jinping for a decade since 2013, he steered China through the COVID-19 pandemic while it faced increasing scrutiny about its global ambitions.
