On 11/04/2022 at 1706 hours, I, Officer Greenwood, responded to 1800 School Drive in reference to an accident
hit and run. Contact was made with Lyle Jones (V2), driver of a 2021 Mercedes S580 (AR LPN AEE07M),
Samuel Brody, passenger, and Stephanie Uekman, witness.
Jones advised he was driving northbound on School Drive when a black Dodge Charger (V1), bearing AR LPN
AEP56D, side swiped his vehicle and ran him off the road while fleeing from police officers.
Brody advised he was a passenger in V2. Brody stated a black Dodge Charger driven by a black male was
fleeing from police officers and struck the rear driver side of V2. Brody advised V1 continue to flee from police
officers after the accident.
Uekman advised she was at the Jacksonville High School football game and witness a black Dodge Charger in a
“high speed chase”. Uekman advised she saw the Dodge Charger run into V2 and continue to flee from police
officers.
I observed minor damage to the rear driver side of V2. The rear driver side wheel well was dented inward and
had paint damage from the impact. I estimated the damage to be $7,000. Jones advised he had insurance
through State Farm, but was unable to provide a policy number.
V1 was apprehended by officers on Interstate 440. Driver, Eric Stewart, was placed under arrest for Fleeing
(reference report #22-05832).
Written statements were obtained and placed in the shift folder. Photographs were obtained and placed on the
P-Drive. I advised Jones of the report number and how to obtain a copy.
