Here are some of the main things to know about the upcoming league…
Real teams, real conferences, real invitational tournaments:
Only our players will be fictional. The logos, the school names, the conferences, they’ll be mirroring real life.
Full transparency:
All our key match ups will be recorded or streamed on either the Twitch or YouTube channel. We’ll then store all our history as we go along.
Developer support:
We’ll be pursuing the status of an official affiliate league. Our members will get the upgrade discount code on DDSCB21. Lead developer is also looking to help get our FTP going and support the HTML outputs. Work on our game bugs in a timely fashion.
HTML reports:
You’ll find you can use the website to stay up to date throughout the season. You may not need to download a zip file every time you want to get updated.
No bribes, no probation, no conference movement:
We’ll cut out the variables.
A challenge for all:
We’ll be putting this game on either Hard or Brutal setting for the newer difficulties. Depending on how much brutal is cranked up. It’ll be forever a challenge and even to beat the AI. At least you’ll know they aren’t bribing in their attempts.
Magazine style website:
We’ll be looking to put up or screen cap some of the major updates around the Top 25 movement. The bubble watch etc.
Less obligation, no donations, only team management:
Nobody is going to force you to write articles or become a journalist. We’ll try to market and create content for as much as we can. Obviously if you want to be a part of the content and think of cool things, the league will take personalities but again, nobody has to. Nobody is going to ask you for money or ask you to pay once you are in. Just do Wolverine Studios a favor and upgrade each season. You won’t be able to ride with us if you don’t switch per year.
Schedule:
We’ll be looking for a good velocity that works for everyone and how fast things need to go or can be handled by GM Games.
Human multi-teams:
To make the game enjoyable as several people enjoy doing the lower ranks and journeyman style saves, we will be allowing potentially up to 3 teams. One high prestige, one medium prestige, one low prestige. Or as many low prestige teams as you like but no more than one high budget or high prestige school to prevent scouting or reporting data optimization between all $’s under human management.
