Heading into the WWE’s Hell In A Cell 2021 PPV event, most fans were hopeful that Bobby Lashley would successfully defend his WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre in the main event of the show, and effectively conclude his feud & rivalry against Drew McIntyre and move onto something bigger and better, and while that is exactly what happened at Hell In A Cell, and Bobby Lashley did in fact retain his WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre which put an end to their feud, if some new rumors and speculation are true, Bobby Lashley’s next challenger for the WWE Championship may be met with criticism from fans. While the general consensus was that WWE would be moving onto a feud between Bobby Lashley and a soon-to-be-returning Brock Lesnar, and by all means this could eventually happen, but with Bobby Lashley putting out a tweet saying “Who’s Next?” after his title defence against Drew McIntyre at Hell In A Cell, this led to a lot of fan speculation that Goldberg could be returning and challenging for Bobby Lashley’s WWE Championship next, especially if there is a bit of a delay in Brock Lesnar’s return which is definitely possible, and reports indicate that Goldberg could possibly even win the WWE Championship from Bobby Lashley, to perhaps build towards another match between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar, or a big triple threat or fatal four way match at SummerSlam between Bobby Lashley, Goldberg, Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre. Now while it seemed like Goldberg was done with WWE after his loss to Drew McIntyre at the Royal Rumble earlier this year after he failed to win the WWE Title from McIntyre, the storyline is definitely there for WWE to book a feud between Bobby Lashley and Goldberg, considering both Superstars signature finishing moves are The Spear, and if you hadn’t known, Goldberg is still under contract with WWE for just over a year and fans can assured that WWE will utilize Goldberg in another match or two before his deal ends!
