I tried to start a live stream from our backyard. Only ran for 30 seconds before it crashed. I have a 1 mbit/second upload speed. Turns out it is only .7 mb. My OBS streaming software says I need 2.4 mbit minimum and 4.4 mbit would be ideal. My provider says I can’t get a faster speed where I live. (It;s kinda rural. Took 15 years to get DSL.
So, I am upgrading to Gigabit fiber. Ny upload speed is now 24 mbit. Should be installed on Mar 29th, and hopefully will start the live stream later that day.
