After DeVonta Smith & Jaylen Waddle left for the NFL, John Metchie was expected to take over as the next great Alabama WR. While he did have a solid season, it was Jameson Williams who developed into Bryce Young’s No. 1 receiver. Metchie’s season started slow, but started to turn it up before he tore his ACL.
