The Duke Blue Devils football team held their annual Blue-White Game at Wallace Wade Stadium on Friday with the White team rallying to beat the Blue team, 19-14. Freshman quarterback Grayson Loftis hit Apollos Cook for a 49-yard touchdown with six minutes remaining for the final score of the game to give the White team the win. Riley Leonard looked good from the start of the game, completing 5 passes in a row on the game’s first drive that ended with a 9-yard touchdown pass to Jalon Calhoun. Leonard finished the game with 154 yards and 2 touchdowns on 19-28 passing. Freshman running back Peyton Jones stood out, carrying the ball 17 times for 55 yards and a touchdown in the win. On defense, big man Ja’Mion Franklin looked unstoppable at times and redshirt junior R.J. Oben flashed, racking up 4 sacks in the game.
