This Pie Crust Recipe Is For: Chicken 🐔 Pot Pie, Apple 🍎 Pie, Lemon 🍋 Meringue Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Sweet Potato 🍠 Pie, Blueberry 🫐 Pie, Cherry Pie & Any Other PieS That You Like To Make!

THIS RECIPE Is FOR 2 PIE Crust! (1 Pie, Top Crust/Bottom Crust or 2 CRUST BOTTOMS) If MAKING 4 PIE CRUST DOUBLE THE RECIPE! (2 Pies Top Crust/Bottom Crust or 4 Pie CRUST BOTTOMS)

Use This Recipe When Trying To Impress!!!

Ingredients

Flour: 300 Grams or 2 1/2 Cups
Sugar: 1/2 Tablespoon or 6.19 Grams
Salt: 1/2 Teaspoon or 3 Grams
Butter: 1/2 Pound Of Unsalted Cold Butter
Ice Water: Fill 1/2 Cup With Ice Water. Use Approximately 1 To 2 Tablespoons Of Ice Water For Every 2 Pie Crust That You Are Making. (In This Video I Made 4 Pie Crust & Only Used 3 Tablespoons, That’s 1.5 Tablespoons Of Ice Water per 2 Pie Crust)

1.) Put 300 Grams Of All Purpose Flour Into A Mixing Bowl With A 1/2 (0.5) Tablespoon Of Sugar, A 1/2 (0.5) A Teaspoon Of Salt. Pulse These Ingredients Together In A Food Processor or A Mixer To Combine.

2.) Get A 1/2 Pound Of Cold Unsalted Butter (2 Sticks) Straight From The Fridge, Dice It Into Small Pieces & Put It Into The Food Processor or Mixer. (If Don’t Have A Food Processor or Mixer, Use The Technique That You Use With Your Hands As Shown In My Video, By Pinching Flour to Butter & Dropping Until It Forms Into Crumbs. Then Adding Water At The End To Provide The Moisture.)

3.) Pulse In Processor Until Crumbs Form With Some Pea Size Pieces. Then Stop Mixing. (It Should Be Dry & Powdery At This Stage.

4.) Have A 1/2 a Cup Of Ice Water Ready, Then Add Approximately 1.5 To 3 Tablespoons Of Ice Water. Start Off With 1 Tablespoon, Then Add Half Tablespoon As Needed Until You Have Reached Desired Hydration. Be Careful Not To Over Hydrate. The Most I Would Use In This Situation Is 2 Tablespoons Per 2 Pie Crust, It May Differ For You Though! If Using A Food Processor Pulse Until Moist Clumps Or Small Balls Start To Form.(Remember, Don’t Over Moisten)

5.) To Test If You Added Enough Water, Press Dough Between Fingers, If It Sticks Together Then Dough Is Ready, If Not, Add Water Until Dough Sticks Together When Pinched With Fingers.

6.) Transfer Dough To A Clean Work Surface & Round It Together Quickly. Cut It In Half To Form 2 Round Disk, Not Balls But Disk In The Shape Of An Oversized Hockey Puck. (Weigh On Digital Scale To Have Even Weights On Both Disk.)

7.) Wrap Each Disk In Plastic Wrap & Place In Fridge For At Least An Hour. (I Do It For At Least 4 Hours Or Overnight)

8.) After At Least An Hour, The Dough Is Ready To Use. You Can Use This Dough For Any Pie Crust. (Should Be Nice Buttery & Flaky When Done)
