Shams Charania of The Athletic reported yesterday that the Celtics have “significant interest” in trading for Jakob Poeltl. Jared Weiss, the Celtics beat reporter for The Athletic, came out today and said that the Spurs are looking for 2 first round picks for Poetl, similar to the package the Celtics gave up last year when they traded for Derrick White. Will Scott also lists Doug McDermott as a Celtics trade target, who also plays for the Spurs. Scott says though, that the most realistic trade target for Boston is Timberwolves center Naz Reid, who is having the best year of his career averaging over 10 PPG.
