Thompson along with the three state championships he won at Beggs in high school, had a successful career as a point guard for the University of Tulsa. After his playing career ended, he’s entered sports media as a TV broadcaster while also becoming a basketball trainer and coach. Through those roles and others, he’s become a pillar of the community in Tulsa. For over the last two decades he’s trained and coached many of the top basketball players in Oklahoma. Along with using the extensive network of connection with coaches at all levels, Thompson blends his basketball knowledge with his broadcast background to bring out the best in young basketball prospects.
