METHOD OF APPLICATION:
1. Surface Preparation on Cementitious surface:
♦ New and existing concrete surface must be prepared
thoroughly by cleaning, washing and removing dust,
dirt, oil, grease and loose particles using wire brush
or water pressure jet.
♦ New plaster, concrete surfaces must be at least 30
days old and have moisture content less than 5% prior to
surface coating.
2. Crack Filling:
♦ Cracks up to 5mm should be filled by NeoSeal® 503
Crack Filler paste.
♦ Cracks more than 5 mm should be filled by applying
NeoSeal® 502 Latex Prime modified mortar slurry using
putty blade in proper way. Let it dry for 24 hrs. Fill the
crack fill material again, if shrinkage observed.
3. Priming coat:
♦ Prime the surface using a coat of NeoSeal® 504
Primer in 2:1 ratio with water OR
♦ Use NeoSeal® 505 as a self-priming by diluting it
with water in 1:1 ratio.
♦ Allow to dry for at least 3-4 hrs. prior to next coat.
4. Waterproof coating:
♦ Stir well before use. NeoSeal® 505 Wall Coat should
be used directly from the container. Do not dilute the
content with water or other products.
♦ Apply a layer of coats by brush or roller and let it dry
for 4-6 hrs. After that apply second coat at right
angles using brush-roller & allow it to dry for one day.
5. Precaution:
♦ All corners, gaps, joints, protrusions & outlets shall
be coated with two extra coats.
♦ Never dilute coating with water for ease of
application. Stir well before use.
♦ Do not apply during raining or extreme temperatures.
Ideal application temp. between 10°C to 45°C.
♦ Avoid abuses which may lead to puncturing of
membrane.
COVERAGE: Coverage depends upon the nature of the surface to be applied. But on average, smooth surface will give approx. 45-50 Sq. Ft. per Ltr. 1st Coat & 50-55 Sq. Ft. per Ltr. 2nd coat. Two coats of the product will give 22-25 Sq. Ft. per Ltr. and about 200-250 microns DFT.
SHELF LIFE: 24 months from the date of manufacturing when kept in cool, dry, unopened and undamaged original packing condition.
PACKING SIZE: 1Ltr., 4Ltr., 10Ltr. and 20Ltr.
HEALTH & SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
♦ Skin Contact: Wash skin with soap & water. Remove
contaminated clothes.
♦ On eye contact: Immediately splash eyes with plenty
of water. Consult Physician if irritation persists.
♦ Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a Physician.
