It’s been a difficult year on many levels for so many, and high school athletes were not immune to the uncertainty and heartache brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.
The Times Union High School Sports Awards celebrates the perseverance and fortitude displayed by the high school athletic community at large, and hopes to lend a touch of normalcy to a year that has been anything but typical.
More than 40 previously-named high school Athletes of the Year will be recoginized, plus hear from special guest speakers and watch the presentation of our staff-selected awards, including the naming of the male and female Athletes of the Year.
